Annual Night of Rededication: What is it? Why do we do it? Late August/Early September
Each year, every Serran is asked to dedicate himself / herself to supporting vocations to the priesthood and religious life. For most of us, we have done this in past years, so it is a rededication to the same mission each year. By having an annual rededication ceremony, it causes us to pause and refocus. This is necessary. It gives us a chance to regenerate ourselves and renew our purpose.
This night is also the beginning of new leadership, as we install officers for the coming year. While our budget and goals are on a January - December schedule, we change officers now so that they have a chance to get on board before each vice president is asked to set goals, objectives, and budget for the coming year. Please plan to rededicate yourself to this most important work.
